Holly Drive
Holly Drive extends north from Dix Street, going up the Hollywood Hills until the street ends with San Marco Drive and Deep Dell Place. Holly Drive was originally named Weid Avenue, but residents did not like that name. In 1913, they petitioned to change the name to Holly Drive. Weid Avenue originated circa 1907. During the 1920s and 1930s, many film notables lived on this street including; director King Vidor, actress Eleanor Boardman, director Mervin LeRoy, and actress Jobyna Ralston.
